Arrival: Walk out to the large grassy area that has the direct views to San Francisco. Alternative kiting areas include the hill that rises up from that area, and on the other side of that hill (dependent on conditions). Set yourself up closer to the water, close to the path, and farthest from the parking circle - dependent on conditions.
