Robert Black Chief instructor Rob's passion for flying began with his first skydive in 2002. He went on to log over 4000 solo and tandem skydives. In 2008, his interests turned to paragliding and he has since flown all over the world, including Bali, Colombia, Switzerland, Hawaii and many more. He helped pioneer all the current flying sites in Vallejo and Benicia, which are now flown almost daily. Professionally, Rob was a high school physics and calculus teacher for 21 years before deciding that teaching paragliding would be a way to share his passion with students. Mike McCook Kiting coach From skateboarding and snowboarding to freestyle motocross, Mike is a long time enthusiast of extreme sports He began his career early when he got his first motorcycle at the age of 5. Everything changed when Mike started Paragliding and the sport became his sole obsession. He is passionate about the sport, flies nearly everyday, and recently started aerobatic flying.
